The October 2007 Book Sale was a great success. $3,307.00 by the end of the day. One family bought $164.00 in books, which filled six boxes. Those who arrived early got the best selection. A special thank you goes out to the Friends of the Library who took care of all of the cash transactions. Our next book sale will be in May 2007. If you would like to donate items (fiction books, non-fiction books, music CDs ,or audiobooks on CD) for next year's sale, please bring them in to any Kings County branch library. We do not accept magazines, videotapes, or audiocassettes simply because no one buys them. If you have any questions, please contact Tanya at 582-0261, extension 109. To everyone who came to the sale and walked away with a book, a couple of books, an armload of books, a bag of books, or a box of books...see you in May.

Kudos go out to Tanya R. (center) who is responsible for organizing and setting up each book sale. Set up assistance provided by Brenda B. (left) and Louise H. (right).
