The Darcy Saga picks up where Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" ends and begins moments after the wedding of the book's main characters, Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. Lathan, a Hanford resident, is an exciting new author who has attracted national attention. Lathan says "it has become my passion, my obsession, and my commitment to present the beloved Austen characters and the backdrop of their life as deemed logical and true to the source material."
