Look for the big "Book Sale" banner and tables filled with books.
If you have any paperback or hardcover books, DVDs, VHS tapes, or music CDs that you no longer need and are taking up valuable space in your home, garage, apartment, car, etc., please feel free to donate them to any Kings County branch library. Pet food recall.
Ontario-based, Menu Foods, is recalling dog food sold under 46 brands and cat food sold under 37 brands. There have been unspecified reports of cats and dogs having suffered kidney failure and 10 cases of pets dying after eating the tainted food. The Menu Foods Web site (http://www.menufoods.com/recall) has information listing product descriptions, UPC codes, and brand names of all of their products being recalled. The Olivia Andrade-Lage author program was a record breaker. 60 people in attendance. Supervisor Joe Neves (District One) cooked the linguicia, which quickly disappeared once the book signing started.
